How they work

The simulators available at the Mobility Centres are capable of measuring the person's motor and visual skills.

Using sensors, the computer tests the persons driving skills and his strength as the acceleration and braking effort progresses. The tools available vary on the basis of the specific needs. It is possible to chose between a traditional set of pedals and the "Push & Pull" device for manual management of the accelerator and brake. The feeling of driving is real, thanks to the advanced technology of the tools. The field of vision is checked using an electronic instrument throughout an angle of 150° with a system of coloured lights.
After completing the test the person concerned will receive the results relevant to his performance.
